I thank my God every time I remember you. ¹ 

He won’t thank the slave because he did what he was told, ¹  will he? ² 

I thank God ¹  that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,

I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you,

We thank God always for all of you as we mention you constantly ¹  in our prayers,

I always thank my God ¹  as I remember you in my prayers, ² 

So they took away ¹  the stone. Jesus looked upward ²  and said, “Father, I thank you that you have listened to me. ³ 

First of all, ¹  I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.

I always thank my God for you because of the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus.

For how can we thank God enough for you, ¹  for all the joy we feel ²  because of you before our God?

The Pharisee stood and prayed about himself like this: ¹  ‘God, I thank ²  you that I am not like other people: ³  extortionists, ⁴  unrighteous people, ⁵  adulterers – or even like this tax collector. ⁶ 

We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, ¹  and rightly so, ²  because your faith flourishes more and more and the love of each one of you all for one another is ever greater.

But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters ¹  loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning ²  for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

And so ¹  we too constantly thank God that when you received God’s message that you heard from us, ²  you accepted it not as a human message, ³  but as it truly is, God’s message, which is at work among you who believe.
