I have both seen and testified that this man is the Chosen One of God.” ¹ 

(For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.) ¹ 

You have sent to John, ¹  and he has testified to the truth.

With many other words he testified ¹  and exhorted them saying, “Save yourselves from this perverse ²  generation!”

Then ¹  John testified, ²  “I saw the Spirit descending like a dove ³  from heaven, ⁴  and it remained on him. ⁵ 

who then ¹  testified to everything that he saw concerning the word of God and the testimony about ²  Jesus Christ.

Now many Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the report of the woman who testified, ¹  “He told me everything I ever did.”

And the Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You people ¹  have never heard his voice nor seen his form at any time, ² 

When he had said these things, Jesus was greatly distressed ¹  in spirit, and testified, ²  “I tell you the solemn truth, ³  one of you will betray me.” ⁴ 

And the person who saw it ¹  has testified (and his testimony is true, and he ²  knows that he is telling the truth), ³  so that you also may believe.

And God, who knows the heart, ¹  has testified ²  to them by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, ³ 

Instead someone testified somewhere: “What is man that you think of him ¹  or the son of man that you care for him?

If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because ¹  this ²  is the testimony of God that ³  he has testified concerning his Son.

For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, just as you are living according to the truth. ¹ 

They ¹  have testified to your love before the church. ²  You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God. ³ 

Demetrius ¹  has been testified to by all, even by the truth itself. We also testify to him, ²  and you know that our testimony is true.

John ¹  testified ²  about him and shouted out, ³  “This one was the one about whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is greater than I am, ⁴  because he existed before me.’”

So they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, the one who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River, ¹  about whom you testified – see, he is baptizing, and everyone is flocking to him!”

So after Peter and John ¹  had solemnly testified ²  and spoken the word of the Lord, ³  they started back to Jerusalem, proclaiming ⁴  the good news to many Samaritan villages ⁵  as they went. ⁶ 

After removing him, God ¹  raised up ²  David their king. He testified about him: ³  ‘I have found David ⁴  the son of Jesse to be a man after my heart, ⁵  who will accomplish everything I want him to do.’ ⁶
