And we speak about these things, not with words taught us by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. ¹ 

because he taught them like one who had authority, ¹  not like their experts in the law. ² 

He taught them many things in parables, ¹  and in his teaching said to them:

Then ¹  the apostles gathered around Jesus and told him everything they had done and taught.

so that you may know for certain ¹  the things you were taught. ² 

Jesus ¹  went out again by the sea. The whole crowd came to him, and he taught them.

And he was amazed because of their unbelief. Then ¹  he went around among the villages and taught.

Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ ¹ 

if indeed you heard about him and were taught in him, just as the truth is in Jesus.

rooted ¹  and built up in him and firm ²  in your ³  faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Among these are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I handed over to Satan ¹  to be taught not to blaspheme.

You, however, must continue ¹  in the things you have learned and are confident about. You know ²  who taught you ³ 

who must be silenced because they mislead whole families by teaching for dishonest gain what ought not to be taught.

The people there ¹  were amazed by his teaching, because he taught them like one who had authority, ²  not like the experts in the law. ³ 

It is written in the prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ ¹  Everyone who hears and learns from the Father ²  comes to me.

You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside ¹  the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires,

Now on the topic of brotherly love ¹  you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, ¹  stand firm and hold on to the traditions that we taught you, whether by speech or by letter. ² 

As Jesus ¹  came ashore ²  he saw the large crowd and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So ³  he taught them many things.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  left that place and went to the region of Judea and ³  beyond the Jordan River. ⁴  Again crowds gathered to him, and again, as was his custom, he taught them.
