You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot take part in the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

When ¹  it was evening, he took his place at the table ²  with the twelve. ³ 

“But look, the hand of the one who betrays ¹  me is with me on the table. ² 

(Now none of those present at the table ¹  understood ²  why Jesus ³  said this to Judas. ⁴ 

For who is greater, the one who is seated at the table, ¹  or the one who serves? Is it not ²  the one who is seated at the table? But I am among you as one ³  who serves.

“Yes, Lord,” she replied, ¹  “but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”

She answered, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

Now ¹  when the hour came, Jesus ²  took his place at the table ³  and the apostles joined ⁴  him.

And David says, “Let their table become a snare and trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them;

a woman came to him with an alabaster jar ¹  of expensive perfumed oil, ²  and she poured it on his head as he was at the table. ³ 

While they were at the table ¹  eating, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, ²  one of you eating with me will betray me.” ³ 

Then ¹  Levi gave a great banquet ²  in his house for Jesus, ³  and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others sitting ⁴  at the table with them.

Now one of the Pharisees ¹  asked Jesus ²  to have dinner with him, so ³  he went into the Pharisee’s house and took his place at the table. ⁴ 

But ¹  those who were at the table ²  with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”

As he spoke, ¹  a Pharisee ²  invited Jesus ³  to have a meal with him, so he went in and took his place at the table. ⁴ 

Then ¹  people ²  will come from east and west, and from north and south, and take their places at the banquet table ³  in the kingdom of God. ⁴ 

who longed to eat ¹  what fell from the rich man’s table. In addition, the dogs ²  came and licked ³  his sores.

that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit ¹  on thrones judging ²  the twelve tribes of Israel.

So they prepared a dinner for Jesus ¹  there. Martha ²  was serving, and Lazarus was among those present at the table ³  with him.
