Their swords will pierce ¹  their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.

They will summon a mob who will stone you and hack you in pieces with their swords.

Beat your plowshares ¹  into swords, and your pruning hooks ²  into spears! ³  Let the weak say, ‘I too am a warrior!’ ⁴

I am about to bring foreigners ¹  against you, the most terrifying of nations. They will draw their swords against the grandeur made by your wisdom, ²  and they will defile your splendor.
