If he piles up silver like dust and stores up clothing like mounds of clay,

what he stores up ¹  a righteous man will wear, and an innocent man will inherit his silver.

He stores up ¹  effective counsel ²  for the upright, ³  and is like ⁴  a shield ⁵  for those who live ⁶  with integrity, ⁷ 

The one who hates others disguises ¹  it with his lips, but he stores up ²  deceit within him. ³ 

You may say, ¹  ‘God stores up a man’s ²  punishment for his children!’ ³  Instead let him repay ⁴  the man himself ⁵  so that ⁶  he may know it!

He will have control over the hidden stores of gold and silver, as well as all the treasures of Egypt. Libyans and Ethiopians ¹  will submit to him. ² 

Come from far away and attack Babylonia! ¹  Open up the places where she stores her grain! Pile her up in ruins! ²  Destroy her completely! ³  Do not leave anyone alive! ⁴ 

When his voice thunders, ¹  the heavenly ocean roars. He makes the clouds rise from the far-off horizons. ²  He makes the lightning flash out in the midst of the rain. He unleashes the wind from the places where he stores it. ³
