Therefore, cleanse ¹  your heart and stop being so stubborn! ² 

Nineveh was like a pool ¹  of water ²  throughout her days, ³  but now ⁴  her people ⁵  are running away; ⁶  she cries out: ⁷  “Stop! Stop!” – but no one turns back. ⁸ 

They were absolutely terrified ¹  and said, “Look, two kings could not stop him! ²  How can we?” ³ 

Remove ¹  your hand ²  far from me and stop making me afraid with your terror. ³ 

He causes everyone to stop working, ¹  so that all people ²  may know ³  his work.
