You furiously stomp on the earth, you angrily trample down the nations.

so that your feet may stomp ¹  in their blood, and your dogs may eat their portion of the enemies’ corpses.” ² 

I grind them as fine as the dust of the ground; I crush them and stomp on them like clay ¹  in the streets.

Rush forth with ¹  the sickle, for the harvest is ripe! Come, stomp the grapes, ²  for the winepress is full! The vats overflow. Indeed, their evil is great! ³ 

Joy and gladness will disappear from the fruitful land of Moab. ¹  I will stop the flow of wine from the winepresses. No one will stomp on the grapes there and shout for joy. ²  The shouts there will be shouts of soldiers, not the shouts of those making wine. ³
