He called a child, had him stand among them,

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

“I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.” ¹ 

If ¹  a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom will not be able to stand.

If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

Jesus said to him, “Stand up! Pick up your mat ¹  and walk.”

But stand up ¹  and enter the city and you will be told ²  what you must do.”

But Peter helped him up, ¹  saying, “Stand up. I too am a mere mortal.” ² 

Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, show courage, be strong.

For now we are alive again, ¹  if you stand firm in the Lord.

Who are you to pass judgment on another’s servant? Before his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord ¹  is able to make him stand.

For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground ¹  on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.

Then the devil took him to the holy city, ¹  had him stand ²  on the highest point ³  of the temple,

So if ¹  Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?

So he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up among all these people.” ¹ 

And if Satan rises against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand and his end has come.

He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,

But when Jesus discerned their innermost thoughts, ¹  he took a child, had him stand by ²  his side,

Nevertheless, do not rejoice that ¹  the spirits submit to you, but rejoice ²  that your names stand written ³  in heaven.”
