For Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks ask for wisdom,

Indeed, the signs of an apostle were performed among you with great perseverance ¹  by signs and wonders and powerful deeds. ² 

So Jesus said to him, “Unless you people ¹  see signs and wonders you will never believe!” ² 

Reverential awe ¹  came over everyone, ²  and many wonders and miraculous signs ³  came about by the apostles.

He ¹  performed momentous signs, even making fire come down from heaven in front of people ² 

For false messiahs ¹  and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect.

They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.]]

So ¹  they made signs to the baby’s ²  father, ³  inquiring what he wanted to name his son. ⁴ 

A large crowd was following him because they were observing the miraculous signs he was performing on the sick.

Although Jesus ¹  had performed ²  so many miraculous signs before them, they still refused to believe in him,

Now Jesus performed ¹  many other miraculous signs in the presence of the ²  disciples, which are not recorded ³  in this book. ⁴ 

Now Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and miraculous signs ¹  among the people.

For false messiahs ¹  and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; ¹ 

There will be great earthquakes, and famines ¹  and plagues in various places, and there will be terrifying sights ²  and great signs ³  from heaven.

Jesus did this as the first of his miraculous signs, ¹  in Cana ²  of Galilee. In this way he revealed ³  his glory, and his disciples believed in him. ⁴ 

Now while Jesus ¹  was in Jerusalem ²  at the feast of the Passover, many people believed in his name because they saw the miraculous signs he was doing. ³ 

Yet many of the crowd ¹  believed in him and said, “Whenever the Christ ²  comes, he won’t perform more miraculous signs than this man did, will he?” ³ 

So the chief priests and the Pharisees ¹  called the council ²  together and said, “What are we doing? For this man is performing many miraculous signs.

And I will perform wonders in the sky ¹  above and miraculous signs ²  on the earth below, blood and fire and clouds of smoke.
