¹ Balaam said to Balak, “Build me seven altars here, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams.”

Then Balaam said to Balak, “Build seven altars here for me, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams.”

The seven good cows represent seven years, and the seven good heads of grain represent seven years. Both dreams have the same meaning. ¹ 

“‘You must count off ¹  seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, ²  and the days of the seven weeks of years will amount to forty-nine years. ³ 

If Cain is to be avenged seven times as much, then Lamech seventy-seven times!” ¹ 

Have seven priests carry seven rams’ horns ¹  in front of the ark. On the seventh day march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the horns.

And after seven days the floodwaters engulfed the earth. ¹ 

The seven lean, bad-looking cows that came up after them represent seven years, as do the seven empty heads of grain burned with the east wind. They represent ¹  seven years of famine.

¹ Seven full days passed ²  after the Lord struck ³  the Nile.

with one-tenth for each of the seven lambs,

and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs,

and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs,

seven Israelite tribes had not been assigned their allotted land. ¹ 

and Uriah the Hittite. Altogether there were thirty-seven.

(12:1) ¹  Jehoash ²  was seven years old when he began to reign.

Seven ¹  sons and three daughters were born to him. ² 

And he also had seven sons ¹  and three daughters.

The entire assembly then decided to celebrate for seven more days; so they joyfully celebrated for seven more days.

When God helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the Lord’s covenant, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

On the eighth day they held an assembly, for they had dedicated the altar for seven days and celebrated the festival for seven more days.
