The ¹  greatest among you will be your servant.

He has helped his servant Israel, remembering ¹  his mercy, ² 

“Lord, ¹  my servant ²  is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible anguish.”

“Now, according to your word, ¹  Sovereign Lord, ²  permit ³  your servant ⁴  to depart ⁵  in peace.

for it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be in fear, for it does not bear the sword in vain. It is God’s servant to administer retribution on the wrongdoer.

It must not be this way among you! Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,

That ¹  servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or do what his master asked ²  will receive a severe beating.
