Then ¹  he began to teach ²  them by saying:

Jesus spoke ¹  to them again in parables, saying:

saying, “Prophesy for us, you Christ! ¹  Who hit you?” ² 

Simeon ¹  took him in his arms and blessed God, saying, ² 

This saying ¹  is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance.

When ¹  Jesus finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed by his teaching,

So they came ¹  and woke him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!”

For she kept saying to herself, ¹  “If only I touch his cloak, I will be healed.” ² 

Then he touched their eyes saying, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.”

He ¹  told them many things in parables, ²  saying: “Listen! ³  A sower went out to sow. ⁴ 

So ¹  they began to discuss this among themselves, saying, “It is because we brought no bread.”

As he entered Jerusalem the whole city was thrown into an uproar, ¹  saying, “Who is this?”

And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth ¹  in Galilee.”

Finally he sent his son to them, ¹  saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

He said to them, “How then does David by the Spirit call him ‘Lord,’ saying,

Later, ¹  the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’ ² 

When ¹  Jesus had finished saying all these things, he told his disciples,

for she kept saying, ¹  “If only I touch his clothes, I will be healed.” ² 

After saying good-bye to them, he went to the mountain to pray.

Jesus ¹  sent him home, saying, “Do not even go into the village.” ²
