God chose ¹  what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something,

through glory and dishonor, through slander and praise; regarded as impostors, ¹  and yet true;

They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds ¹  regarded him as a prophet.

A centurion ¹  there ²  had a slave ³  who was highly regarded, ⁴  but who was sick and at the point of death.
