May my thoughts ¹  be pleasing to him! I will rejoice in the Lord.

by knowledge its rooms are filled with all kinds of precious and pleasing treasures.

The lips of the righteous know ¹  what is pleasing, ²  but the speech ³  of the wicked is perverse.

When a person’s ¹  ways are pleasing to the Lord, ²  he ³  even reconciles his enemies to himself. ⁴ 

For it is pleasing if ¹  you keep these sayings ²  within you, and ³  they are ready on your lips. ⁴ 

But there will be delight ¹  for those who convict ²  the guilty, ³  and a pleasing blessing ⁴  will come on them.

The offerings ¹  of Judah and Jerusalem ²  will be pleasing to the Lord as in former times and years past.

and for a drink offering you must offer one-third of a hin of wine as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

and you must present as the drink offering half a hin of wine with the fire offering as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

“‘Every native-born person must do these things in this way to present an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

It is a continual burnt offering that was instituted on Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

“Command the Israelites: ¹  ‘With regard to my offering, ²  be sure to offer ³  my food for my offering made by fire, as a pleasing aroma to me at its appointed time.’ ⁴

The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow from the soil, ¹  every tree that was pleasing to look at ²  and good for food. (Now ³  the tree of life ⁴  and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ⁵  were in the middle of the orchard.)

and you make an offering by fire to the Lord from the herd or from the flock (whether a burnt offering or a sacrifice for discharging a vow or as a freewill offering or in your solemn feasts) to create a pleasing aroma to the Lord,
