Her ways are very pleasant, ¹  and all her paths are peaceful.

My people will live in peaceful settlements, in secure homes, and in safe, quiet places. ¹ 

Their peaceful dwelling places will be laid waste ¹  by the fierce anger of the Lord. ² 

Do to him what you think is appropriate, ¹  but don’t let him live long and die a peaceful death. ² 

They found fertile and rich pasture; the land was very broad, undisturbed and peaceful. Indeed some Hamites had been living there prior to that.

But ¹  the tents of robbers are peaceful, and those who provoke God are confident ²  – who carry their god in their hands. ³

I represent the peaceful and the faithful in Israel. You are attempting to destroy an important city ¹  in Israel. Why should you swallow up the Lord’s inheritance?”

‘for there will be a peaceful time of sowing, the vine will produce its fruit and the ground its yield, and the skies ¹  will rain down dew. Then I will allow the remnant of my people to possess all these things.
