First the gospel must be preached to all nations.

In ¹  past ²  generations he allowed all the nations ³  to go their own ways,

Then ¹  they ²  told me: “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, ³  languages, and kings.”

They will bring the grandeur and the wealth ¹  of the nations ²  into it,

For all the nations of the world pursue ¹  these things, and your Father knows that you need them.

and repentance ¹  for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed ²  in his name to all nations, ³  beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴ 

After ¹  he had destroyed ²  seven nations ³  in the land of Canaan, he gave his people their land as an inheritance. ⁴ 

The nations ¹  will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur ²  into it.

“Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and will kill you. You will be hated by all the nations ¹  because of my name. ² 

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole inhabited earth as a testimony to all the nations, ¹  and then the end will come.

All ¹  the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate people one from another like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

Therefore go ¹  and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, ² 

who said by the Holy Spirit through ¹  your servant David our forefather, ²  ‘Why do the nations ³  rage, ⁴  and the peoples plot foolish ⁵  things?

Against hope Abraham ¹  believed ²  in hope with the result that he became the father of many nations ³  according to the pronouncement, ⁴  “so will your descendants be.” ⁵ 

And to the one who conquers ¹  and who continues in ²  my deeds until the end, I will give him authority over the nations ³  –

A ¹  second ²  angel ³  followed the first, ⁴  declaring: ⁵  “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great city! ⁶  She made all the nations ⁷  drink of the wine of her immoral passion.” ⁸ 

Then ¹  the angel ²  said to me, “The waters you saw (where the prostitute is seated) are peoples, multitudes, ³  nations, and languages.

“Here is ¹  my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I take great delight. ²  I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

Then he began to teach ¹  them and said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? ²  But you have turned it into a den ³  of robbers!” ⁴ 

They ¹  will fall by the edge ²  of the sword and be led away as captives ³  among all nations. Jerusalem ⁴  will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. ⁵
