As a result God exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,

And in his name the Gentiles ¹  will hope.” ² 

He appointed twelve: ¹  To Simon ²  he gave the name Peter;

You will be hated by everyone because of my name. ¹ 

A man came, sent from God, whose name was John. ¹

For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ ¹  and they will mislead many.

because he who is mighty ¹  has done great things for me, and holy is his name;

They ¹  said to her, “But ²  none of your relatives bears this name.” ³ 

If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

And then ¹  everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ ² 

For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” ¹ 

who ¹  have risked their lives ²  for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. ³ 

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus,
