Jesus answered, “The most important is: ‘Listen, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

Most excellent Felix, ¹  we acknowledge this everywhere and in every way ²  with all gratitude. ³ 

Conduct yourselves ¹  with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunities.

Yet the Most High ¹  does not live in houses made by human hands, ²  as the prophet says,

So the chief priests and the most prominent men ¹  of the Jews brought formal charges ²  against Paul to him.

But Paul replied, ¹  “I have not lost my mind, most excellent Festus, ²  but am speaking ³  true and rational ⁴  words.

But God was not pleased with most of them, for they were cut down in the wilderness.

and to esteem them most highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith, by praying in the Holy Spirit, ¹ 

Then ¹  he cried out with a loud voice, “Leave me alone, ²  Jesus, Son of the Most High God! I implore you by God ³  – do not torment me!”

So ¹  it seemed good to me as well, ²  because I have followed ³  all things carefully from the beginning, to write an orderly account ⁴  for you, most excellent Theophilus,

He ¹  will be great, ²  and will be called the Son of the Most High, ³  and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father ⁴  David.

And you, child, ¹  will be called the prophet ²  of the Most High. ³  For you will go before ⁴  the Lord to prepare his ways, ⁵ 

But I tell you most certainly, ¹  there are some standing here who will not ²  experience ³  death before they see the kingdom of God.” ⁴ 

She followed behind Paul and us and kept crying out, ¹  “These men are servants ²  of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way ³  of salvation.” ⁴ 

So then some were shouting one thing, some another, for the assembly was in confusion, and most of them did not know why they had met together. ¹ 

Were you called as a slave? ¹  Do not worry about it. But if indeed you are able to be free, make the most of the opportunity.

If someone speaks in a tongue, it should be two, or at the most three, one after the other, and someone must interpret.

Then he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters ¹  at one time, most of whom are still alive, ²  though some have fallen asleep. ³ 

Now I will most gladly spend and be spent for your lives! ¹  If I love you more, am I to be loved less?
