“This is the law for all diseased infections, for scall, ¹ 

This is the law that Moses set before the Israelites. ¹ 

If his sons reject my law and disobey my regulations,

Your justice endures, ¹  and your law is reliable. ² 

I hate and despise deceit; I love your law.

Those who forsake the law ¹  praise the wicked, ²  but those who keep the law contend ³  with them.

Then ¹  Joshua read aloud all the words of the law, including the blessings and the curses, just as they are written in the law scroll.

So Naomi ¹  said, “Look, your sister-in-law is returning to her people and to her god. ²  Follow your sister-in-law back home!”

Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, took Moses’ wife Zipporah after he had sent her back,

Moses delivered to us a law, ¹  an inheritance for the assembly of Jacob.
