He told them, “This kind can come out only by prayer.” ¹ 

(Now he said this to indicate clearly what kind of death he was going to die.) ¹ 

You must put away every kind of bitterness, anger, wrath, quarreling, and evil, slanderous talk.

For you were made rich ¹  in every way in him, in all your speech and in every kind of knowledge ²  –

Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up.

But someone will say, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”

Instead, ¹  be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you. ² 

And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight

For every kind of animal, bird, reptile, and sea creature ¹  is subdued and has been subdued by humankind. ² 

Then Jesus went throughout all the towns ¹  and villages, teaching in their synagogues, ²  preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and sickness. ³ 

Jesus ¹  called his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits ²  so they could cast them out and heal every kind of disease and sickness. ³ 

(This happened ¹  to fulfill the word Jesus had spoken when he indicated ²  what kind of death he was going to die. ³ )

(Now Jesus ¹  said this to indicate clearly by what kind of death Peter ²  was going to glorify God.) ³  After he said this, Jesus told Peter, ⁴  “Follow me.”

They are filled ¹  with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with ²  envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips,

Because they are callous, they have given themselves over to indecency for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. ¹ 

But ¹  among you there must not be either sexual immorality, impurity of any kind, ²  or greed, as these are not fitting for the saints. ³ 

Before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, I solemnly charge you to carry out these commands without prejudice or favoritism of any kind. ¹ 

And the Lord’s slave ¹  must not engage in heated disputes ²  but be kind toward all, an apt teacher, patient,

to be self-controlled, ¹  pure, fulfilling their duties at home, ²  kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the message ³  of God may not be discredited. ⁴ 

By his sovereign plan he gave us birth ¹  through the message of truth, that we would be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
