The rich man had a great many flocks and herds.

Now Lot, who was traveling ¹  with Abram, also had ²  flocks, herds, and tents.

Pay careful attention to ¹  the condition of your flocks, ²  give careful attention ³  to your herds,

They took their flocks, herds, and donkeys, as well as everything in the city and in the surrounding fields. ¹

Your children ¹  will be cursed, as well as the produce of your soil, the calves of your herds, and the lambs of your flocks.

David took all the flocks and herds and drove them in front of the rest of the animals. People were saying, “This is David’s plunder!”

Although they bring their flocks and herds ¹  to seek ²  the favor of the Lord, ³  They will not find him – he has withdrawn himself from them!
