Jesus ¹  said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

Heal the sick, raise the dead, ¹  cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

I brought him to your disciples, but ¹  they were not able to heal him.”

and he sent ¹  them out to proclaim ²  the kingdom of God ³  and to heal the sick. ⁴ 

They watched ¹  Jesus ²  closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath, ³  so that they could accuse him.

Heal ¹  the sick in that town ²  and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God ³  has come upon ⁴  you!’

Jesus ¹  called his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits ²  so they could cast them out and heal every kind of disease and sickness. ³ 

A ¹  man was there who had a withered ²  hand. And they asked Jesus, ³  “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” ⁴  so that they could accuse him.

He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

When the centurion ¹  heard ²  about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders ³  to him, asking him to come ⁴  and heal his slave.

So ¹  Jesus asked ²  the experts in religious law ³  and the Pharisees, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath ⁴  or not?”

while you extend your hand to heal, and to bring about miraculous signs ¹  and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

Jesus ¹  said to them, “No doubt you will quote to me the proverb, ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ ²  and say, ‘What we have heard that you did in Capernaum, ³  do here in your hometown too.’”

The experts in the law ¹  and the Pharisees ²  watched ³  Jesus ⁴  closely to see if ⁵  he would heal on the Sabbath, ⁶  so that they could find a reason to accuse him.

When he heard that Jesus had come back from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and begged him ¹  to come down and heal his son, who was about to die.

“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, ¹  so that they would not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, ²  and turn to me, ³  and I would heal them.” ⁴ 

For the heart of this people has become dull; they are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ ¹ 

Now on ¹  one of those days, while he was teaching, there were Pharisees ²  and teachers of the law ³  sitting nearby (who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem), ⁴  and the power of the Lord was with him ⁵  to heal.

For the heart of this people has become dull, ¹  and their ears are hard of hearing, ²  and they have closed their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, ³  and I would heal them.”’ ⁴
