God was performing extraordinary ¹  miracles by Paul’s hands,

Therefore, strengthen ¹  your listless hands and your weak knees, ² 

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands and in three days build another not made with hands.’”

And he placed his hands on them and went on his way. ¹ 

Then ¹  he placed his hands on her, and immediately ²  she straightened up and praised God.

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. ¹ 

They ¹  laid hands on ²  the apostles and put them in a public jail.

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

they will pick up snakes with their hands, and whatever poison they drink will not harm them; ¹  they will place their hands on the sick and they will be well.”

These are the things that defile a person; it is not eating with unwashed hands that defiles a person.” ¹ 

And they saw that some of Jesus’ disciples ate their bread with unclean hands, that is, unwashed.

After he took the children in his arms, he placed his hands on them and blessed them.

The ¹  Pharisee was astonished when he saw that Jesus ²  did not first wash his hands ³  before the meal.
