Her hands ¹  take hold ²  of the distaff, and her hands grasp the spindle.

Look, ¹  you have instructed ²  many; you have strengthened ³  feeble hands. ⁴

God abandons me to evil ¹  men, ²  and throws ³  me into the hands of wicked men.

although ¹  there is no violence in my hands and my prayer is pure.

But the righteous man holds to his way, and the one with clean hands grows stronger. ¹ 

His sons must recompense ¹  the poor; his own hands ²  must return his wealth.
