“For ¹  no good tree bears bad ²  fruit, nor again ³  does a bad tree bear good fruit,

“I am the good ¹  shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life ²  for the sheep.

Do not seek your own good, but the good of the other person.

The good person ¹  brings good things out of his ²  good treasury, ³  and the evil person brings evil things out of his evil treasury.

There ¹  they continued to proclaim ²  the good news.

Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.” ¹ 

But examine all things; hold fast to what is good.

In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad ¹  tree bears bad fruit.

A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit.

Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? ¹  No one is good except God alone.

Jesus ¹  said to him, “Why do you call me good? ²  No one is good except God alone.

Tell them to do good, ¹  to be rich in good deeds, to be generous givers, sharing with others. ² 

The good person out of the good treasury of his ¹  heart ²  produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasury ³  produces evil, for his mouth speaks ⁴  from what fills ⁵  his heart.

And ¹  if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even ²  sinners ³  do the same.

and said to him, “Everyone ¹  serves the good wine first, and then the cheaper ²  wine when the guests ³  are drunk. You have kept the good wine until now!”

For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I want to do the good, but I cannot do it. ¹ 

(for rulers cause no fear for good conduct but for bad). Do you desire not to fear authority? Do good and you will receive its commendation,

However, it is good ¹  to be sought eagerly ²  for a good purpose ³  at all times, and not only when I am present with you.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

He ¹  answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.
