When a strong man, ¹  fully armed, guards his own palace, ²  his possessions are safe. ³ 

He was ¹  fully convinced that what God ²  promised he was also able to do.

I rejoice because in everything I am fully confident in you.

Epaphras, who is one of you and a slave ¹  of Christ, ²  greets you. He is always struggling in prayer on your behalf, so that you may stand mature and fully assured ³  in all the will of God.

When ¹  I was with you and was in need, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia fully supplied my needs. ²  I ³  kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so.
