(Now the Jewish feast of the Passover ¹  was near.) ² 

Now the Jewish feast of Tabernacles ¹  was near. ² 

Then came the feast of the Dedication ¹  in Jerusalem. ² 

You go up ¹  to the feast yourselves. I am not going up to this feast ²  because my time ³  has not yet fully arrived.” ⁴ 

During the feast it was customary to release one prisoner to the people, ¹  whomever they requested.

Now ¹  Jesus’ ²  parents went to Jerusalem ³  every ⁴  year for the feast of the Passover. ⁵ 

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, ¹  which is called the Passover, was approaching.

Now the Jewish feast of Passover ¹  was near, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ² 

After this ¹  there was a Jewish feast, ²  and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ³ 

So the Jewish leaders ¹  were looking for him at the feast, asking, “Where is he?” ² 

Now some Greeks ¹  were among those who had gone up to worship at the feast.

So when he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him because they had seen all the things he had done in Jerusalem ¹  at the feast ²  (for they themselves had gone to the feast). ³ 

But they said, “Not during the feast, so that there won’t be a riot among the people.” ¹ 

During the feast the governor was accustomed to release one prisoner to the crowd, ¹  whomever they wanted.

For they said, “Not during the feast, so there won’t be a riot among the people.” ¹ 

Then the day for the feast ¹  of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. ² 

When the feast was half over, Jesus went up to the temple courts ¹  and began to teach. ² 

The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. ¹ 

But ¹  when the feast was over, ²  as they were returning home, ³  the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His ⁴  parents ⁵  did not know it,

When ¹  one of those at the meal with Jesus ²  heard this, he said to him, “Blessed is everyone ³  who will feast ⁴  in the kingdom of God!” ⁵
