Greetings to ¹  Prisca and Aquila ²  and the family of Onesiphorus.

The slave does not remain in the family ¹  forever, but the son remains forever. ² 

from ¹  whom every family ²  in heaven and on the earth is named.

Honor all people, love the family of believers, ¹  fear God, honor the king.

When his family ¹  heard this they went out to restrain him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”

Yet ¹  another said, “I will follow you, Lord, but first let me say goodbye to my family.” ² 

Annas the high priest was there, and Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and others who were members of the high priest’s family. ¹ 

On their second visit Joseph made himself known to his brothers again, and Joseph’s family ¹  became known to Pharaoh.

Brothers, ¹  descendants ²  of Abraham’s family, ³  and those Gentiles among you who fear God, ⁴  the message ⁵  of this salvation has been sent to us.

At ¹  that hour of the night he took them ²  and washed their wounds; ³  then ⁴  he and all his family ⁵  were baptized right away. ⁶ 

So then, ¹  whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the family of faith. ² 

But if someone does not provide for his own, ¹  especially his own family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my imprisonment. ¹ 

So ¹  Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth ²  in Galilee to Judea, to the city ³  of David called Bethlehem, ⁴  because he was of the house ⁵  and family line ⁶  of David.

If a believing woman ¹  has widows in her family, ²  let her help them. The church should not be burdened, so that it may help the widows who are truly in need. ³ 

By faith Noah, when he was warned about things not yet seen, with reverent regard ¹  constructed an ark for the deliverance of his family. Through faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
