Now early in the morning, as he returned to the city, he was hungry.

Furthermore, some women of our group amazed us. ¹  They ²  were at the tomb early this morning,

And very early on the first day of the week, at sunrise, they went to the tomb.

And all the people ¹  came to him early in the morning to listen to him in the temple courts. ² 

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner ¹  who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.

When ¹  it was early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people plotted against Jesus to execute him.

Now on the first day ¹  of the week, at early dawn, the women ²  went to the tomb, taking the aromatic spices ³  they had prepared.

Early in the morning he came to the temple courts again. All the people came to him, and he sat down and began to teach ¹  them.

When it was already very early morning, Jesus stood on the beach, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  got up early in the morning when it was still very dark, departed, and went out to a deserted place, and there he spent time in prayer. ³ 

Early in the morning, after forming a plan, the chief priests with the elders and the experts in the law ¹  and the whole Sanhedrin tied Jesus up, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate. ² 

Now very early on the first day of the week, ¹  while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene ²  came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been moved away from the entrance. ³ 

So be patient, brothers and sisters, ¹  until the Lord’s return. ²  Think of how the farmer waits ³  for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient ⁴  for it until it receives the early and late rains.

Then they brought Jesus from Caiaphas to the Roman governor’s residence. ¹  (Now it was very early morning.) ²  They ³  did not go into the governor’s residence ⁴  so they would not be ceremonially defiled, but could eat the Passover meal.
