Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the one from heaven, so too those who are heavenly.

While they were screaming ¹  and throwing off their cloaks ²  and tossing dust ³  in the air,

The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.

So after they shook ¹  the dust off their feet ²  in protest against them, they went to Iconium. ³ 

And if anyone will not welcome you or listen to your message, shake the dust off ¹  your feet as you leave that house or that town.

If a place will not welcome you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off ¹  your feet as a testimony against them.”

Wherever ¹  they do not receive you, ²  as you leave that town, ³  shake the dust off ⁴  your feet as a testimony against them.”

‘Even the dust of your town ¹  that clings to our feet we wipe off ²  against you. ³  Nevertheless know this: The kingdom of God has come.’ ⁴ 

And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear ¹  the image of the man of heaven.

And they threw dust on their heads and were shouting with weeping and mourning, ¹  “Woe, Woe, O great city – in which all those who had ships on the sea got rich from her wealth – because in a single hour she has been destroyed!” ²
