For those who sleep, sleep at night and those who get drunk are drunk at night.

But others jeered at the speakers, ¹  saying, “They are drunk on new wine!” ² 

And do not get drunk with wine, which ¹  is debauchery, ²  but be filled by the Spirit, ³ 

For when it is time to eat, everyone proceeds with his own supper. One is hungry and another becomes drunk.

The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him, ¹  a glutton and a drunk, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ ² 

and said to him, “Everyone ¹  serves the good wine first, and then the cheaper ²  wine when the guests ³  are drunk. You have kept the good wine until now!”

In spite of what you think, these men are not drunk, ¹  for it is only nine o’clock in the morning. ² 

with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality and the earth’s inhabitants got drunk with the wine of her immorality.” ¹

But if ¹  that ²  slave should say to himself, ³  ‘My master is delayed ⁴  in returning,’ and he begins to beat ⁵  the other ⁶  slaves, both men and women, ⁷  and to eat, drink, and get drunk,

I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of those who testified to Jesus. ¹  I ²  was greatly astounded ³  when I saw her.
