What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light, and what is whispered in your ear, ¹  proclaim from the housetops. ² 

got into a boat, and started to cross the lake ¹  to Capernaum. ²  (It had already become dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.) ³ 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  got up early in the morning when it was still very dark, departed, and went out to a deserted place, and there he spent time in prayer. ³ 

If ¹  then ²  your whole body is full of light, with no part in the dark, ³  it will be as full of light as when the light of a lamp shines on you.” ⁴ 

So then ¹  whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered ²  in private rooms ³  will be proclaimed from the housetops. ⁴ 

Now very early on the first day of the week, ¹  while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene ²  came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been moved away from the entrance. ³ 

Now ¹  this is what the horses and their riders ²  looked like in my ³  vision: The riders had breastplates that were fiery red, ⁴  dark blue, ⁵  and sulfurous ⁶  yellow in color. ⁷  The ⁸  heads of the horses looked like lions’ heads, and fire, smoke, and sulfur ⁹  came out of their mouths.
