You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the field.

You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out. ¹ 

Your basket and your mixing bowl will be cursed.

So he said, “Cursed ¹  be Canaan! ²  The lowest of slaves ³  he will be to his brothers.”

‘Cursed is the one who commits bestiality.’ ¹  Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

After this Job opened his mouth ²  and cursed ³  the day he was born. ⁴

‘Cursed is the one who kills ¹  his neighbor in private.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who refuses to keep the words of this law.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

Cursed be the day I was born! May that day not be blessed when my mother gave birth to me. ¹ 

Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce, and their fury, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel! ¹ 

“‘If anyone ²  curses his father and mother ³  he must be put to death. He has cursed his father and mother; his blood guilt is on himself. ⁴ 

How ¹  can I curse ²  one whom God has not cursed, or how can I denounce one whom the Lord has not denounced?

‘Cursed is the one who perverts justice for the resident foreigner, the orphan, and the widow.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with ¹  his father’s former wife, ²  for he dishonors his father.’ ³  Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’
