God created humankind ¹  in his own image, in the image of God he created them, ²  male and female he created them. ³ 

In the beginning ¹  God ²  created ³  the heavens and the earth. ⁴ 

He created them male and female; when they were created, he blessed them and named them “humankind.” ¹ 

You created the mountains by your power, ¹  and demonstrated your strength. ² 

You created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon ¹  rejoice in your name.

The Lord created ¹  me as the beginning ²  of his works, ³  before his deeds of long ago.

I am the Lord, your Holy One, ¹  the one who created Israel, your king.”

You set up all the boundaries ¹  of the earth; you created the cycle of summer and winter. ² 

All the nations, whom you created, will come and worship you, ¹  O Lord. They will honor your name.

When you send your life-giving breath, they are created, and you replenish the surface of the ground.

everyone who belongs to me, ¹  whom I created for my glory, whom I formed – yes, whom I made!

Return it to its sheath! ¹  In the place where you were created, ²  in your native land, I will judge you.

You were blameless in your behavior ¹  from the day you were created, until sin was discovered in you.

This is the account ¹  of the heavens and the earth ²  when they were created – when the Lord God ³  made the earth and heavens. ⁴ 

This is the record ¹  of the family line ²  of Adam. When God created humankind, ³  he made them ⁴  in the likeness of God.

By the Lord’s decree ¹  the heavens were made; by a mere word from his mouth all the stars in the sky were created. ² 

For I will not be hostile ¹  forever or perpetually angry, for then man’s spirit would grow faint before me, ²  the life-giving breath I created.

God created the great sea creatures ¹  and every living and moving thing with which the water swarmed, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. God saw that it was good.

Now ¹  the man had marital relations with ²  his wife Eve, and she became pregnant ³  and gave birth to Cain. Then she said, “I have created ⁴  a man just as the Lord did!” ⁵ 

Look up at the sky! ¹  Who created all these heavenly lights? ²  He is the one who leads out their ranks; ³  he calls them all by name. Because of his absolute power and awesome strength, not one of them is missing.
