Hatred ¹  stirs up dissension, but love covers all transgressions. ² 

For, look, darkness covers the earth and deep darkness covers ¹  the nations, but the Lord shines on you; his splendor ²  appears over you.

why it is so dark you cannot see, ¹  and why a flood ²  of water covers you.

With his hands ¹  he covers ²  the lightning, and directs it against its target.

Can you raise your voice to the clouds so that a flood of water covers you? ¹ 

He covers himself with light as if it were a garment. He stretches out the skies like a tent curtain,

He covers ¹  the sky with clouds, provides the earth with rain, and causes grass to grow on the hillsides. ² 

The one who covers ¹  his transgressions will not prosper, ²  but whoever confesses them and forsakes them will find mercy. ³ 

If its owner was with it, he will not have to pay; if it was hired, what was paid for the hire covers it. ¹ 

Then he must present from it his offering as a gift to the Lord: the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat on the entrails, ¹ 

And the eye of the adulterer watches for the twilight, thinking, ¹  ‘No eye can see me,’ and covers his face with a mask.

As they pass through the Baca Valley, ¹  he provides a spring for them. ²  The rain ³  even covers it with pools of water. ⁴ 

God comes ¹  from Teman, ²  the sovereign ³  one from Mount Paran. ⁴  Selah. ⁵  His splendor covers the skies, ⁶  his glory ⁷  fills the earth.

You are to take all the fat that covers the entrails, and the lobe ¹  that is above the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and burn them ²  on the altar.

Then the one presenting the offering ¹  must present a gift to the Lord from the peace offering sacrifice: He must remove the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that surrounds the entrails, ² 

If, however, the disease breaks out ¹  on the skin so that the disease covers all the skin of the person with the infection ²  from his head to his feet, as far as the priest can see, ³ 

the priest must then examine it, ¹  and if ²  the disease covers his whole body, he is to pronounce the person with the infection clean. ³  He has turned all white, so he is clean. ⁴ 

“Look, a nation has come out ¹  of Egypt, and it covers the face of the earth. Come now and put a curse on them for me; perhaps I will be able to defeat them ²  and drive them out.” ³ 

If a land ¹  has been given into the hand of a wicked man, ²  he covers ³  the faces of its judges; ⁴  if it is not he, then who is it? ⁵ 

“You are to take from the ram the fat, the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails, the lobe ¹  of the liver, the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and the right thigh – for it is the ram for consecration ²  –
