Some were convinced ¹  by what he said, ²  but others refused ³  to believe.

He was ¹  fully convinced that what God ²  promised he was also able to do.

But the centurion ¹  was more convinced ²  by the captain ³  and the ship’s owner than by what Paul said. ⁴

One person regards one day holier than other days, and another regards them all alike. ¹  Each must be fully convinced in his own mind.

I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean in itself; still, it is unclean to the one who considers it unclean.

But in your case, dear friends, even though we speak like this, we are convinced of better things relating to salvation.

But I myself am fully convinced about you, my brothers and sisters, ¹  that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another.

Because of this, in fact, I suffer as I do. ¹  But I am not ashamed, because I know the one in whom my faith is set ²  and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me ³  until that day. ⁴
