The leprosy left him at once, and he was clean.

Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup, ¹  so that the outside may become clean too!

Jesus replied, ¹  “The one who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, ²  but is completely ³  clean. ⁴  And you disciples ⁵  are clean, but not every one of you.”

Joseph ¹  took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, ² 

When it returns, ¹  it finds the house ²  swept clean and put in order. ³ 

You are clean already ¹  because of the word that I have spoken to you.

And a leper ¹  approached, and bowed low before him, saying, ²  “Lord, if ³  you are willing, you can make me clean.”

He stretched out his hand and touched ¹  him saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Moved with compassion, ¹  Jesus ²  stretched out his hand and touched ³  him, saying, “I am willing. Be clean!”

But give from your heart to those in need, ¹  and ²  then everything will be clean for you. ³ 

The voice ¹  spoke to him again, a second time, “What God has made clean, you must not consider ²  ritually unclean!” ³ 

But the voice replied a second time from heaven, ‘What God has made clean, you must not consider ¹  ritually unclean!’

The ¹  armies that are in heaven, dressed in white, clean, fine linen, ²  were following him on white horses.

Then it says, ‘I will return to the home I left.’ ¹  When it returns, ²  it finds the house ³  empty, swept clean, and put in order. ⁴ 

Now ¹  a leper ²  came to him and fell to his knees, asking for help. “If ³  you are willing, you can make me clean,” he said.

For it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and then goes out into the sewer.” ¹  (This means all foods are clean.) ² 

So ¹  he stretched out his hand and touched ²  him, saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.

But the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees clean ¹  the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. ² 

(For Jesus ¹  knew the one who was going to betray him. For this reason he said, “Not every one of you is ²  clean.”) ³ 

and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, dressed in clean bright linen, wearing wide golden belts ¹  around their chests.
