I broke the fangs ¹  of the wicked, and made him drop ²  his prey from his teeth.

You broke open the spring and the stream; ¹  you dried up perpetually flowing rivers. ² 

He destroyed their vines and fig trees, and broke the trees throughout their territory.

They made the Lord angry ¹  by their actions, and a plague broke out among them.
