“The Lord bless you ¹  and protect ²  you;

The Lord takes notice of us, ¹  he will bless ²  – he will bless the family ³  of Israel, he will bless the family of Aaron.

He will bless his loyal followers, ¹  both young and old. ² 

I will bless those who bless you, ¹  but the one who treats you lightly ²  I must curse, and all the families of the earth will bless one another ³  by your name.”

So they will put my name ¹  on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

Indeed, I have received a command ¹  to bless; he has blessed, ²  and I cannot reverse it. ³ 

Balak said to Balaam, “Neither curse them at all ¹  nor bless them at all!” ² 

whose heart did not bless me ¹  as he warmed himself with the fleece of my sheep, ² 

The earth yields its crops. May God, our God, bless us!

May the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth, bless you ¹  from Zion! ² 

There is a generation ¹  who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers. ² 

I will bless her and will give you a son through her. I will bless her and she will become a mother of nations. ¹  Kings of countries ²  will come from her!”

Then you will take ¹  it to your father. Thus he will eat it ²  and ³  bless you before he dies.”

Also, take your flocks and your herds, just as you have requested, and leave. But bless me also.” ¹ 

“Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is the way ¹  you are to bless ²  the Israelites. Say ³  to them:

May God bless us! ¹  Then all the ends of the earth will give him the honor he deserves. ² 

They curse, but you will bless. ¹  When they attack, they will be humiliated, ²  but your servant will rejoice.

May the Lord bless you ¹  from Zion, that you might see ²  Jerusalem ³  prosper all the days of your life,

Then I will make you ¹  into a great nation, and I will bless you, ²  and I will make your name great, ³  so that you will exemplify divine blessing. ⁴ 

When Esau heard ¹  his father’s words, he wailed loudly and bitterly. ²  He said to his father, “Bless me too, my father!”
