“Whoever, then, acknowledges ¹  me before people, I will acknowledge ²  before my Father in heaven.

But whoever denies me before people, I will deny him also before my Father in heaven.

But the one who denies me before men will be denied before God’s angels.

“There is no fear of God before their eyes.” ¹ 

For this reason ¹  I kneel ²  before the Father, ³ 

Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will exalt you.

“I ¹  tell you, whoever acknowledges ²  me before men, ³  the Son of Man will also acknowledge ⁴  before God’s angels.

For we are concerned about what is right not only before the Lord but also before men. ¹ 

other than ¹  this one thing ²  I shouted out while I stood before ³  them: ‘I am on trial before you today concerning the resurrection of the dead.’” ⁴ 

When any of you has a legal dispute with another, does he dare go to court before the unrighteous rather than before the saints?

I charge you ¹  before God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made his good confession ²  before Pontius Pilate,

Do ¹  not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

But on Herod’s birthday, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and pleased Herod,

But she came and bowed down ¹  before him and said, ²  “Lord, help me!”

Then Moses ¹  and Elijah ²  also appeared before them, talking with him.

When ¹  they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,

When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and bowed down before him.

Then Elijah appeared before them along with Moses, ¹  and they were talking with Jesus.

Now ¹  while Zechariah ²  was serving as priest before God when his division was on duty, ³ 

in holiness and righteousness ¹  before him for as long as we live. ²
