So Jehu eradicated Baal worship ¹  from Israel.

Heshbon and all its surrounding cities on the plain, including Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,

They abandoned the Lord and worshiped Baal and the Ashtars. ¹

He set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal he had built in Samaria.

They hauled out the sacred pillar of the temple of Baal and burned it.
