Warriors ¹  were scarce, ²  they were scarce in Israel, until you ³  arose, Deborah, until you arose as a motherly protector ⁴  in Israel.

No prophet ever again arose in Israel like Moses, who knew the Lord face to face. ¹ 

When the king extended to Esther the gold scepter, she ¹  arose and stood before the king.

when God arose to execute judgment, and to deliver all the oppressed of the earth. (Selah)

So on that day David arose and fled from Saul. He went to King Achish of Gath.

The male goat acted even more arrogantly. But no sooner had the large horn become strong than it was broken, and there arose four conspicuous horns ¹  in its place, ²  extending toward the four winds of the sky. ³ 

The horn that was broken ¹  and in whose place there arose four others stands for four kingdoms that will arise from his nation, though they will not have his strength.
