(14:1) Asa did what the Lord his God desired and approved. ¹ 

Asa did what the Lord approved ¹  like his ancestor ²  David had done.

Throughout his lifetime Jehoash did what the Lord approved, ¹  just as ²  Jehoiada the priest taught him.

He did what the Lord approved, just as his father Amaziah had done. ¹ 

He did what the Lord approved, just as his father Uzziah had done. ¹ 

He did what the Lord approved, just as his ancestor David had done. ¹ 

Joash did what the Lord approved ¹  throughout the lifetime ²  of Jehoiada the priest.

He did what the Lord approved, ¹  but not with wholehearted devotion. ² 

He did what the Lord approved, just as his father Amaziah had done. ¹ 

He did what the Lord approved, just as his ancestor David had done. ¹ 

Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the household of Aristobulus.
