He ¹  will reward ²  each one according to his works: ³ 

so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

For if the eagerness is present, the gift itself ¹  is acceptable according to whatever one has, not according to what he does not have.

Then he touched their eyes saying, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.”

“Now, according to your word, ¹  Sovereign Lord, ²  permit ³  your servant ⁴  to depart ⁵  in peace.

When ¹  he was twelve years old, ²  they went up ³  according to custom.

Do not judge according to external appearance, ¹  but judge with proper ²  judgment.”

For though we live ¹  as human beings, ²  we do not wage war according to human standards, ³ 

Since many ¹  are boasting according to human standards, ²  I too will boast.

This was according to ¹  the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches ¹  in Christ Jesus.

Toward this goal ¹  I also labor, struggling according to his power that powerfully ²  works in me.

But I confess this to you, that I worship ¹  the God of our ancestors ²  according to the Way (which they call a sect), believing everything that is according to the law ³  and that is written in the prophets.

For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by ¹  the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit.

¹ Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that had been kept secret for long ages,

In Christ ¹  we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, ²  since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will

in which ¹  you formerly lived ²  according to this world’s present path, ³  according to the ruler of the kingdom ⁴  of the air, the ruler of ⁵  the spirit ⁶  that is now energizing ⁷  the sons of disobedience, ⁸ 

Be careful not to allow anyone to captivate you ¹  through an empty, deceitful philosophy ²  that is according to human traditions and the elemental spirits ³  of the world, and not according to Christ.

Then ¹  they returned and prepared aromatic spices ²  and perfumes. ³  On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment. ⁴ 

on the day when God will judge ¹  the secrets of human hearts, ²  according to my gospel ³  through Christ Jesus.
