Ahiam son of Sakar ¹  the Hararite, Eliphal son of Ur, ² 

Yes, ¹  sons ²  are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.

The wicked person ¹  earns ²  deceitful wages, ³  but the one who sows ⁴  righteousness reaps ⁵  a genuine ⁶  reward. ⁷ 

Those who make cloth ¹  will be demoralized; ²  all the hired workers will be depressed. ³ 

But as for you, be strong and don’t get discouraged, ¹  for your work will be rewarded.” ² 

Two people are better than one, because they can reap ¹  more benefit ²  from their labor.

And you may ¹  eat it in any place, you and your household, because it is your wages for your service in the tent of meeting.

For the living know that they will die, but the dead do not know anything; they have no further reward – and even the memory of them disappears. ¹

“I ¹  will come to you in judgment. I will be quick to testify against those who practice divination, those who commit adultery, those who break promises, ²  and those who exploit workers, widows, and orphans, ³  who refuse to help ⁴  the immigrant ⁵  and in this way show they do not fear me,” says the Lord who rules over all.
