(for he 1 is a merciful God), he will not let you down 2 or destroy you, for he cannot 3 forget the covenant with your ancestors that he confirmed by oath to them.
Do whatever is proper 1 and good before the Lord so that it may go well with you and that you may enter and occupy the good land that he 2 promised your ancestors,
He delivered us from there so that he could give us the land he had promised our ancestors.
