And at the end of your life ¹  you will groan ²  when your flesh and your body are wasted away. ³ 

You must not have sexual intercourse with your father’s sister; she is your father’s flesh. ¹ 

My flesh and my heart may grow weak, ¹  but God always ²  protects my heart and gives me stability. ³ 

He rained down meat on them like dust, birds as numerous as the sand on the seashores. ¹ 

A kind person ¹  benefits ²  himself, ³  but a cruel person brings himself trouble. ⁴ 

If he takes another wife, ¹  he must not diminish the first one’s food, ²  her clothing, or her marital rights. ³ 

“‘No man is to approach any close relative ¹  to have sexual intercourse with her. ²  I am the Lord. ³ 

You must not have sexual intercourse with your mother’s sister, because she is your mother’s flesh.

except for his close relative who is near to him: ¹  his mother, his father, his son, his daughter, his brother,

yet you ¹  hate what is good, ²  and love what is evil. ³  You flay my people’s skin ⁴  and rip the flesh from their bones. ⁵ 

You must not expose the nakedness of your mother’s sister and your father’s sister, for such a person has laid bare his own close relative. ¹  They must bear their punishment for iniquity. ² 

or his uncle or his cousin ¹  may redeem him, or anyone of the rest of his blood relatives – his family ²  – may redeem him, or if ³  he prospers he may redeem himself.

Yes, ¹  he struck a rock and water flowed out, streams gushed forth. But can he also give us food? Will he provide meat for his people?”

The person who lives in Zion says, “May Babylon pay for the violence done to me and to my relatives.” Jerusalem says, “May those living in Babylonia pay for the bloodshed of my people.” ¹ 

You ¹  devour my people’s flesh, strip off their skin, and crush their bones. You chop them up like flesh in a pot ²  – like meat in a kettle.

and if his father has no brothers, then you are to give his inheritance to his relative nearest to him from his family, and he will possess it. This will be for the Israelites a legal requirement, ¹  as the Lord commanded Moses.’”
