When there is no guidance ¹  a nation falls, but there is success ²  in the abundance of counselors.

Plans ¹  are established by counsel, so ²  make war ³  with guidance.

for with guidance you wage your war, and with numerous advisers there is victory. ¹ 

(Let the wise also ¹  hear ²  and gain ³  instruction, and let the discerning ⁴  acquire ⁵  guidance! ⁶ )

The clouds ¹  go round in circles, wheeling about according to his plans, to carry out ²  all that he commands them over the face of the whole inhabited world.

He did not seek the Lord’s guidance, so the Lord ¹  killed him and transferred the kingdom to David son of Jesse.

So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord and did not obey the Lord’s instructions; he even tried to conjure up underworld spirits. ¹ 

This also comes from the Lord who commands armies, who gives supernatural guidance and imparts great wisdom. ¹ 

and those who turn their backs on ¹  the Lord and do not want the Lord’s help or guidance.” ²

Yes, I find delight in your rules; they give me guidance. ¹

May your loyal followers ¹  turn to me, those who know your rules.

Because I give ¹  you good instruction, ²  do not forsake my teaching.
