He ¹  delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him ²  that ³  he will deliver us yet again,

that we, being rescued from the hand of our ¹  enemies, may serve him without fear, ² 

And do not lead us into temptation, ¹  but deliver us from the evil one. ² 

Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?

and that we may be delivered from perverse and evil people. For not all have faith.

and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man in anguish over the debauched lifestyle of lawless ¹  men, ² 

He trusts in God – let God, if he wants to, deliver him now ¹  because he said, ‘I am God’s Son’!”

– if so, ¹  then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from their trials, ²  and to reserve the unrighteous for punishment ³  at the day of judgment,

And so ¹  all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

Pray ¹  that I may be rescued from those who are disobedient in Judea and that my ministry in Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,

He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves, ¹ 

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath. ¹ 

as well as the persecutions and sufferings ¹  that happened to me in Antioch, ²  in Iconium, and in Lystra. ³  I endured these persecutions and the Lord delivered me from them all.

But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message ¹  would be fully proclaimed ²  for all the Gentiles to hear. And so I was delivered from the lion’s mouth!

The Lord will deliver me from every evil deed and will bring me safely ¹  into his heavenly kingdom. To him ²  be glory for ever and ever! ³  Amen.
